Fresh Bee Pollens, Nutrition by Bees and Plants

While foraging on flowers, bees harvest pollen from the stamens and form pellets that they place in the baskets located on their hind legs. Upon returning to the hive, they pass through screens and drop a few pellets, which fall into a drawer. As soon as it is harvested by the beekeeper, the fresh bee pollen is frozen to be subsequently analyzed, inspected, and packaged by the Pollenergie teams at its French production site. Why are our bee pollens frozen?

Fresh pollen degrades very quickly in the air and at room temperature. Dried pollen quickly loses a large part of its nutritional properties. This is why Patrice Percie du Sert, beekeeper and founder of Pollenergie, developed an exclusive preservation process for the pollens harvested by bees. They are frozen as soon as they are harvested, then packaged under a protective atmosphere. This dual preservation process maintains the nutritional integrity of the pollen and allows it to travel at room temperature for more than 7 days before being safely refrozen.

Fresh Frozen Bee Pollen: A Unique Nutritional Complex

A large spoonful of fresh frozen pollen at breakfast helps preserve your balance, fortifies and protects your body to help you regain all your vitality. Thanks to their natural complex rich in antioxidant phytonutrients, low in fat and salt, fresh frozen pollens present unique nutritional qualities, gifts from bees and flowers.

Which bee pollen to choose? Nutritional specificities according to your needs

Our research, scientific rigor, values of naturalness, and the nutritional qualities of our products position us today as the specialist in frozen pollens and apitherapy. Propolis, protection by bees and plants

Propolis has been known for millennia for its therapeutic benefits. Initially, it is a resinous substance secreted by the buds, young leaves, or even the trunks of certain trees and shrubs. Bees harvest this resin, transport it in their pollen baskets, transform it, and use it to caulk and sanitize their habitat.

In the hive, the worker bees soften the propolis and add wax to it. Thanks to the masticatory and enzymatic action (salivary secretion) of the bees, the polyphenol chains are fragmented to produce aglycone polyphenols. Propolis is one of the only sources of aglycone polyphenols in the plant kingdom!

Why are our propolis products so effective?

Pollenergie applies specific harvesting techniques on grids or strips to obtain high-quality fresh propolis, while guaranteeing the preservation of its active substances. Our propolis types are selected according to their botanical origin and contain nearly 300 compounds, including polyphenols (flavonoids), acids, aromatic acid esters, and essential oils. The synergy of these purifying substances naturally promotes the body's protection and resistance, hence the nickname "natural antibiotic" given to propolis.

Pollenergie guarantees the plant origin of its propolis (brown poplar propolis, green Baccharis propolis, and red Dalbergia propolis) and commits to a minimum amount of total polyphenols to ensure maximum efficacy. Discover our complete range designed to meet everyone's specific needs.

Organic Fresh Royal Jelly, the caviar of the hive

Secreted by the hypopharyngeal glands of bees, royal jelly is the exclusive food of the queen throughout her life, which allows her to live 40 times longer than her subjects!

Royal jelly is a concentrate of minerals (calcium, iron, potassium), trace elements, and vitamins. It also contains an antibacterial factor and acetylcholine (1 mg/g), a neurotransmitter that mediates nerve impulses targeting brain functions, particularly memory.

What are the quality criteria for royal jelly?

Geographical origin

Our organic royal jellies benefit from all the attention and know-how of professional beekeepers to guarantee the highest level of quality and traceability. Faced with all the fraudulent imported royal jellies, it is essential to consume a royal jelly of guaranteed origin.

Freshness

Royal jelly is sold in many forms: freeze-dried, in capsules, frozen/thawed... However, only fresh royal jelly guarantees you all of its virtues.

Preserved between 2°C and 4°C since their harvest in France and Italy (Tuscany) by specialized beekeepers, the nutritional and organoleptic qualities of Aristée® organic royal jellies remain intact. Concentrated in vitamins, our royal jellies are recommended for 20-day courses in cases of intense fatigue, overwork, and during exam revision periods.
