The desire to share the benefits of the hive

In 1993, Patrice Percie du Sert, an agricultural engineer and professional beekeeper in Lot-et-Garonne (France), realized that consuming fresh, un-dried pollen straight from the hive provided him with numerous benefits. He then set out to analyze pollen in its fresh form to uncover all its secrets, before seeking a solution to preserve all the nutritional richness of this superfood. After several years of research in collaboration with Competence Centers, he developeda unique process to preserve pollen without drying or dehydrating it, combining two methods of preservation: freezing and packaging under a protective atmosphere. The Pollenergie adventure was launched!
The Drive to Understand and Innovate
The Pollenergie company was founded in Saint-Hilaire-de-Lusignan (Lot-et-Garonne) in 1997 and has been working ever since on all beehive products to deliver their full freshness, with the goal of preserving all of their active ingredients.
In 2009, Pollenergie expanded its team by bringing in a researcher with a PhD in nutrition to head the Research & Development department. He participates in setting up several research programs in partnership with Scientific Centers in France and abroad.
At the heart of this research are hive products, with the objective of preserving the freshness and health benefits of their active ingredients without ever denaturing them. The investments and studies initiated systematically combine scientific research with the development of new products. Today, this work allows Pollenergie to be recognized for its reliability and to position itself as one of the French leaders in the field of high-quality natural dietary supplements, focused on the benefits of hive products and Apitherapy.
Certified Quality
Product quality is at the heart of Pollenergie's concerns. The received harvests are systematically analyzed, controlled, and classified. This rigorous traceability allows for tracking all batches from the apiary to the store. Pollenergie's Quality department manages the analyses used to verify the quality and botanical origin of the raw material: moisture level, lactic flora analysis, screening for pesticides and heavy metals, floral composition analysis, organoleptic testing... The Wildflowers (Fleurs Sauvages) and Organic (Bio) labels are prioritized for all existing and future products.
A rigorous quality policy is applied to Pollenergie's internal organization. Within this framework, regular audits are conducted to ensure the proper functioning and sustainability of the activities carried out. Finally, Pollenergie is a French production unit employing more than 20 people dedicated to providing consumers with irreproachable products. This is why Pollenergie's teams follow the HACCP system and Good Manufacturing Practices to guarantee the safety of the foods and dietary supplements they produce.
Committing to Protect the Planet

The company Pollenergie has implemented a respectful and safe framework for bee colonies. The company trains and supports its partner beekeepers in sustainable beekeeping practices for the effective preservation of bees. In this regard, Pollenergie is a partner of the UNAF (Union Nationale de l’Apiculture Française) and fights daily to protect our "environmental sentinels," which are not only the guardians of our ecosystem but also the guarantors of biodiversity.
