The best bee pollens for your hair!

Just like skin health, hair health is closely linked to diet. We have selected the two ideal pollens to focus on for healthy, dense, and strong hair.

Specific properties of organic cistus bee pollen

Unseasoned, fresh frozen cistus bee pollen is the only product that revitalizes both the intestinal mucosa and flora, thanks to a synergy between a complex microbial system and a set of antioxidant micronutrients. By providing vitamin E and carotenoids, it promotes a competent selective barrier, also allowing us to better benefit from the precious micronutrients in our diet and achieve better toxin elimination.

It is ideal for nourishing the intestinal microbiota and strengthening our intestinal barrier—the perfect combination to support the synthesis of vitamins, particularly those of the B group. Certified organic cistus pollen is also rich in carotenoids, which help make hair healthier, thicker, and shinier.

Specific properties of organic cherry bee pollen

It is rich in zinc, a powerful antioxidant that contributes to hair growth. A deficiency in this trace element can be a factor that promotes hair loss and a dry scalp. B vitamins are our best allies for supple, shiny, and fully healthy hair. Becoming more resilient, the hair falls out less and grows faster.

Cherry bee pollen harvested by bees is not only rich in vitamin B2 (riboflavin), which acts on hair loss and helps fight against greasy hair, but also in vitamin B3, which stimulates hair follicle renewal by activating blood circulation at the root. By slowing down the degeneration of scalp cells, the latter helps fight against dandruff.

Fresh organic cherry blossom bee pollen

Organic cherry blossom pollen (Prunus Cerasus sp.). Contains a small amount of other pollen from the surrounding flora. No artificial colors or preservatives. The cherry blossom pollen grains are harvested between March and April. A flavor that is both floral and fruity with a hint of bitterness. Melt-in-the-mouth to silky texture. Light yellow pellets.

Fresh bee pollen is a raw, living, highly nutritious, and complex food that deteriorates very quickly when exposed to air and at room temperature. Pollenergie packages pollen using a patented process that combines controlled atmosphere packaging with freezing, allowing it to be transported for 7 days at room temperature without any deterioration. Once delivered, the pollen can be safely refrozen to preserve its full nutritional potential.

We recommend starting the treatment with organic rockrose bee pollen for 3 weeks to rebalance the gut flora, which will help maximize the effects of the cherry blossom pollen. Continue for another 3 weeks with organic cherry blossom pollen. You can eat the bee pollen on its own or sprinkle it on fruit salad, compote, yogurt, or muesli. For optimal preservation of the pollen tray, we recommend freezing this product immediately upon receipt.

A 250 g tray provides a 20-day supply when taken at a rate of one tablespoon per day.

Storing fresh bee pollen

As soon as you receive it, place your pollen tray in the freezer to preserve all its nutritional qualities. It is not necessary to defrost the pollen before tasting it. Thanks to its low water content, the pollen remains melt-in-the-mouth and easy to scoop, even when frozen. You can therefore consume it directly out of the freezer.

How to take bee pollen?

Contrary to popular belief, pollen is not more effective on an empty stomach. The ideal way is to consume it during a light meal to help your body better absorb its entire cocktail of nutrients and probiotics. For daily use, one tablespoon is generally sufficient. However, this dosage may vary according to different profiles:

  • Adults: 1 tablespoon (12 to 15 g) per day. This dose can be doubled for athletes or during an intensive 3-week course.
  • Vegetarians & food lovers: up to 4 tablespoons per day without risk of overdose, as pollen is a natural and non-toxic food.
  • Children (up to 12 years old): 1 teaspoon per day. If they ask for more, the child's appetite remains the best indicator of their needs.
  • Sensitive intestines: start with 1 teaspoon per day for a week to avoid the transit-accelerating effect due to fiber, then increase gradually.

Instinct is a good advisor, and wanting to eat more simply means that we need it.

Can bee pollen be taken continuously?

It is often forgotten, but the pollen collected by bees is a food. There is no risk of toxicity in taking it daily—quite the contrary! Pollen consumption is even recommended for people who wish to naturally support chronic health problems or prevent disorders linked to the body's aging. However, its nutritional richness can sometimes saturate the system; a temporary interruption of the course is then recommended to better resume afterwards.
