ABOUT LES ABEILLES DE MALESCOT
A former grain farm located in the village of Bouglon in Lot-et-Garonne, Domaine de Malescot has transformed into an organic beekeeping farm dedicated to creating an ideal environment for bees. The result of a long transition, this conversion involves daily efforts to select nectar-bearing plants, maintain plots, and plant hedgerows to recreate a natural ecosystem requiring human stewardship. The estate also includes its own honey processing and production facility to ensure optimal traceability and minimize transportation.

Honey Crystallization
All honeys crystallize! Contrary to widespread belief, this is by no means a sign of poor quality or added sugar. However, this natural process varies depending on the honey's floral source and storage temperature. How can you reliquefy honey that has become too firm or grainy? Simply place the jar in a warm water bath without exceeding 45°C (113°F) to avoid losing its nutritional properties. Please note: this will still alter its organoleptic qualities, particularly its flavor and aroma. We therefore recommend enjoying it in its natural state!
